Daily Nutrition is a private, non-commercial project. It is a free nutrition calculator with no registration and no sale of goods or services.
Daily Nutrition is developed and maintained by Michael Wolrab, an IT operations engineer with a personal interest in evidence-based nutrition. After educating himself extensively on the topic, he was able to reduce his own body weight by roughly 44 %. That interest is what led to the wish for a reference calculator built exclusively on official scientific sources (NAS, EFSA, NIH) rather than unsourced rules of thumb. Michael is not a physician or nutrition scientist — for health-related questions, the notice on professional consultation (see home page) always applies.
